(For EMEA) How to activate and rehost iCube Engineer licenses

In order to request a license, which will allow the user to use the iCube Engineer software past the 30 day trial, please visit the iCube control homepage:

Follow the 'Licensing' link to acquire a license for the EMEA region:

The user will be redirected to the 'Yaskawa Business Partner Portal'. Please log in or create a new account if necessary.

After successful login the user will be redirected to the Yaskawa software portal. Follow the sequence shown in the screenshot in order to find the iCube Engineer platform.

Click on 'Aquire a license', and again after the website opened.

A new Email will be generated automatically, please do not change the recipient and the subject of that Email.

• Send the Email.
• An answer will be received shortly after that from 'Yaskawa Licensing'. The user can find the License Certificate as a pdf-file attached to the Email. This certificate contains all the information required to store the license in the individual user account.

2.2 Activate License

• Download the attached pdf-file (License Certificate).
• Click the link or scan the QR-code in the license certificate.
• Your default web browser will access the 'Yaskawa Business Partner Portal' and assign the license to your account.

• Download the software (if not done already), read and accept the license agreement and start the setup procedure.
• Open the 'Yaskawa Business Partner Portal' yet again. 
• It can be accessed easily from within the software as well:

• Log in (if necessary).
• Go to 'My Licenses'.

Note: In case one person oversees software licenses for several users and computers, make use of the 'User Reference' field to keep track where your licenses are used.

• The user has two options now:
1. 'Bind License manually' (use this procedure when the software is installed on a computer which is not connected to the internet)
2. 'Bind License automatically' (this is the default procedure, your computer must be connected to the internet)
• Click 'Bind License automatically'

• After successful license transfer, the software license is activated.
• Restart iCube Engineer.
• The dialog, which informs the user that the trial period is almost expired, should not show up again.
