2. Solution details
For this document, it's assumed that:
- iCube is already installed on your computer.
Note
To reactivate a previously re-hosted/deactivated license, follow the steps found in the "Activating an iCube Engineer License" section below.
Solution Steps
1. Activating an iCube Engineer License
- Launch iCube Engineer. On the splash page, click the "Help" tab at the top of the screen, then the "License Portal" option. This will open a new tab in your default web-browser.
- In the newly opened tab in your web browser, click the respective "ACTIVATE" button for your region of operation. This will open a new tab in your default web-browser.
- In the newly opened tab in your web browser, fill out all necessary fields with your information.
- At the very bottom of the same webpage will be a dialog-box for entering your ticket number. You should have received this ticket number in your email.
- Click the "I'm not a robot" button. Then, click the "Submit" button. This will take you to a new screen.
Note
If you are brought to a new screen like the one below, try re-entering your license number in the dialog box below "Ticket:" Then, click "Next".
- Scroll to the bottom of the new screen and click "Activate Licenses". This will take you to a new page.
Note:
You may not have as many licenses as shown below.
- Select the license(s) you wish to download. Ensure at least one check box is "ticked".
- Scroll to the bottom of the page, then click "Activate Selected Licenses Now"
- Allow the website to process the request.
2. Re-Hosting an iCube Engineer License
- Launch iCube Engineer. On the splash page, click the "Help" tab at the top of the screen, then the "License Portal" option. This will open a new tab in your default web-browser.
