2. Solution details

For this document, it's assumed that:
  • iCube is already installed on your computer.

Note
To reactivate a previously re-hosted/deactivated license, follow the steps found in the "Activating an iCube Engineer License" section below.

Solution Steps

1. Activating an iCube Engineer License

  1. Launch iCube Engineer. On the splash page, click the "Help" tab at the top of the screen, then the "License Portal" option. This will open a new tab in your default web-browser.

  2. In the newly opened tab in your web browser, click the respective "ACTIVATE" button for your region of operation. This will open a new tab in your default web-browser.

  3. In the newly opened tab in your web browser, fill out all necessary fields with your information.

  4. At the very bottom of the same webpage will be a dialog-box for entering your ticket number. You should have received this ticket number in your email.

  5. Click the "I'm not a robot" button. Then, click the "Submit" button. This will take you to a new screen.

    Note
    If you are brought to a new screen like the one below, try re-entering your license number in the dialog box below "Ticket:" Then, click "Next".

  6. Scroll to the bottom of the new screen and click "Activate Licenses". This will take you to a new page. 
    Note:
    You may not have as many licenses as shown below.

  7. Select the license(s) you wish to download. Ensure at least one check box is "ticked".

  8. Scroll to the bottom of the page, then click "Activate Selected Licenses Now"

  9. Allow the website to process the request.

2. Re-Hosting an iCube Engineer License

  1. Launch iCube Engineer. On the splash page, click the "Help" tab at the top of the screen, then the "License Portal" option. This will open a new tab in your default web-browser.

  8. Then, click the "Deactivate Selected Licenses Now" button.
