Logging on to/off from the Safety-related Area

For editing safety-related parts of the project, you have to logon to the Safety-related Area. This is an area of responsibility restricted to authorized members. Safety-related data can be displayed in read-only mode, while you are logged off.
Whether you are logged on to the Safety-related Area or not is indicated on the left side of the status bar:

/

You can log on to/off from the Safety-related Area by left-clicking this status bar entry. After logging on by entering the password, you stay logged on until you log off or you are automatically logged off due to inactivity. When logging off from the Safety-related Area, the Safety-related Area is left immediately. Open safety-related editors are switched to read-only mode.
