This application note shows how to read the serial number of a connected motor using code in iCube Engineer.

3. Solution details
Use multiple instances of Y_ReadDriveMemory FB or one instance of the FB in series to read the following memory addresses on the servopack.

Use the conversion shown below to store the read values to elements of a byte array.
Use the following code to convert the byte array to a string that can be read in the application.
It can be seen that the serial number matches the number from SigmaWin.
