2. How to handle reconnection of sigma Win+ to the SERVOPACK after Software reset over EoE ?
- The SERVOPACK can be power cycled using software reset in the SigmaWin+ software.
- Once this is done, if menu is requested to open again on the Sigmawin+, the software lags for a long time and then the software stops responding.
- The reason behind this behavior is that after a power cycle/Software reset, the SERVOPACK goes into the INIT state. This can be seen on the iCube engineer software under EtherCAT.
- When click on each slave, the state of each SERVOPACK can be seen. The picture below shows the State of Slave_001. It is in INIT state after power cycle and needs to be moved to the OP State.
- Once each slave is in OP state, then any operation requested on SigmaWin+ will work normally as it was working before the Power cycle of the SERVOPACK.
