Interlocking in Accordance with DIN EN ISO 14119/14120
The DIN EN ISO 14119/14120 standards provide definitions for interlocking devices associated with guards:
- DIN EN ISO 14120: Interlocking devices without guard locking (two-stage interlocking) and
- DIN EN ISO 14119: Interlocking devices with guard locking (four-stage interlocking).
Both types of interlocking are shown alongside each other in the diagram below.
