Defining the Update Task of the iC9200 Series Controller

The interval at which variables are updated from the running controller can be configured by selecting an update task. Depending on the controller used, different settings concerning update tasks may be possible.

For iC9200 Series controller types, the update task for controller system variables (ESM_*) can defined.

Note
If no task is selected here, the update is done in an interval of 50 ms.

For all settings, perform the following steps:

Double-click the controller node in the PLANT.
In the editors area, open the 'Settings' editor and select the 'Update task' category on the left.
In the drop-down list, select the desired task.
